Visiting St Etheldreda's

About Us

St Etheldreda’s is one of London’s hidden gems, a beautiful and historic building and the oldest Roman Catholic Church in England. Mass is celebrated in English at 1 pm every weekday (with very rare exceptions) and at 9 am each Sunday. There is a sung Latin Mass (novus ordo) at 11 am each Sunday. St Etheldreda’s boasts a fine musical tradition, and is available for weddings and baptisms.

Going from the busy, hi-tech newsroom to this ancient place is like a screeching hand-brake turn in your day
